Lansing Urgent Care PDF

Lansing Urgent CareTwo people with one goal in mind...'We think we can do it better' turned into Lansing's premier provider of Urgent Care services, Lansing Urgent Care.  Dr. Terry Matthews and his wife, Catherine, took the bold risk of opening an urgent care clinic at the onset of the state's toughest economic climate in years.  They felt there was an increasing need for Urgent Care services in this area, as Emergency Rooms have continued to become overwrought with non-emergent patient visits and primary care offices unable to schedule last minute visits and provide after hours care.

Any business owner alike will agree, the first years are the toughest - and the Matthews' are no exception.  In their first year, Dr. Matthews was the only provider on site 7 days/week, 12-14 hours per day.  At that time, Catherine worked as an Environmental Engineer for GE and ran the clinic alongside Dr. Matthews.  In their words that year was 'Brutal'.

However, their primary commitment to patient care and compassion began to pay off.  After just three short years, Lansing Urgent Care has built a solid brand through clever marketing campaigns, minimal patient wait times and an average total visit time of less than one hour.  Relentless focus on superior patient care, and a state-of-the-art facility featuring flat screen tv's in every exam room and fireplace in the lobby offer their patients a completely different Urgent Care experience.  They are as humble as they are dedicated...they attribute much of their success to their staff.  Catherine's belief that much of what they do can be trained- but having compassion for others is built in - her words, 'We only hire nice people, the other stuff can be trained, compassion for others is built in.'  All of these efforts are what have grown the business to caring for 4 patients on Day One to a daily average of 80 today!

Their motto "Get In, Get Out, Get Better!" is not only their mantra - it's true.
